<p>Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced Animal Care Technician in Philadelphia, PA.</p> <p>Responsibilities for the Animal Technician include:</p> <ul> <li>Perform daily Animal husbandry duties such as health check, cage changing, and waste disposal </li><li>Oversee laboratory sanitation and environmental conditions such as humidity and temperature </li><li>Assist in basic veterinary care for animals housed within the vivarium </li><li>Oversee vivarium supplies and resources </li><li>Provide support to rodent breeding colonies </li><li>Maintain logs and research documentation in accordance with company standards </li></ul> <p>Qualifications for the Animal Technician include:</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of 1 year of animal husbandry </li><li>Technical capabilities with animal breeding, tissue sampling, harvesting, collection, and rodent mouse models </li><li>B.S. in Engineering or related field required </li></ul> <p>Compensation for the Animal Technician include:</p> <ul> <li>$21 hour with 1 year of animal care and cage wash experience </li><li>Comprehensive benefits package </li></ul> <p>Keywords</p> <p>Animal Care Technician, In Vivo Research, Mouse, Rodent, Animal Handling, Animal Husbandry, Science, comprehensive benefits package, Health, Vision, Dental.</p> <p>This job opens for applications on 03/05/2026.
