<p>Crystal Springs Resort is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Banquet Intern to join our team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event operations, and hospitality at one of the top Northeast's premier resort destinations.</p> <p>Task List:</p> <ul> <li>Utilize POL's to routinely create a "Today's Event Sheet." </li><li>Create and distribute food labels for breakfast, lunch, and dinner events. </li><li>Routinely organize new BEO's for efficient use by Banquet Team. </li><li>Create and distribute BEO packets for the following day. </li><li>Be part of leadership meetings such as wedding meetings, pre-shifts, and daily stand up. </li></ul> <p>Program learning goals:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Learn to effectively analyze and interpret a Banquet Executive Order (BEO).</p> </li><li> <p>Witness the successful execution of weddings, social, and corporate events from start to finish.</p> </li><li> <p>Learn to manage and coordinate a team on a high level.</p> </li><li> <p>Learn to function in an efficient office environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Data entry of invoices related to events such as linen invoices, equipment rental invoices, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Be part of the planning team of major holiday events and festivals such as NJ Wine & Food Festival, NJ Beer & Food Festival, Easter Brunch, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving Brunch, New Years Eve family event, and after party in the Biosphere indoor pool.</p> </li><li> <p>This internship is unpaid and designed to fulfill college credit requirements.*</p> </li></ul> <p>Enjoy Crystal Springs Employee Perks!</p> <ul> <li>Discounted Minerals Sports Club Membership </li><li>30% Dining/Retail Discount </li><li>30% Spa Discount </li><li>Discounted Stays at the Hotels </li><li>Discounted admission to Events & Festivals </li><li>Complimentary Golf </li></ul>
