If you are an enthusiastic individual seeking an environment dedicated to superior patient care and an organization with a strong mission to serve our community, we invite you to apply!</p> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Affordable medical, dental and vision plans provided to meet the needs of full employees and their families </li><li>Up to 16 days of PTO for full time employees </li><li>6 paid holidays for full time employees </li><li>Tuition reimbursement and continuing education opportunities </li><li>401(k) retirement plan </li><li>Flexible spending and health savings account </li></ul> <p>What will you do in this role:</p> <ul> <li>Educate the community on rehabilitation to develop a census through face-to-face contacts </li><li>Develop business based on the strategic goals of the rehabilitation program </li><li>Face-to-face connections within territory to build relationships with referral sources to increase census </li><li>Identifies barriers to the admission process and creates solutions with the assistance of the program director </li><li>Ability to review patient medical charts and understand test results, therapy evaluations, pre-existing conditions, and have a general medical knowledge of the patient </li><li>Ability to clearly and professionally interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers while gathering additional clinical information and past history </li><li>Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify patients for potential admission into the rehabilitation program </li><li>Complete detailed Pre-Admission Screens, as applicable, according to facility policies and procedures, Lifepoint policies and procedures, and payer requirements, as applicable. </li><li>Schedules meetings and arrange in services for medical professionals including potential and existing referral sources, doctors, nurses, social workers and other health care professional </li><li>Provide patient updates to physicians, payers, case managers, social workers, and other relevant persons </li><li>Maintain solid working relationships with new and existing referral sources by providing excellent after-sales service </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Clinical experience is required </li><li>At a minimum, should be a graduate of a four-year college program with a bachelor's degree in a health related, business or marketing area of concentration, nursing or therapy preferred </li><li>Ability to travel in the community to meet clients/customers at hospitals, SNFs, physician offices and other nontraditional referral sources. </li><li>Valid driver's license and own reliable transportation required </li><li>Communicate and demonstrate a professional image/attitude for patients, families, clients, co-workers, and others, demonstrating great customer service and listening skills </li></ul> <p>Through a history of successful joint-venture partnerships and management agreements, Lifepoint Rehabilitation works with hospitals to more effectively meet the needs of their patients, maintain employee satisfaction and generate long-term quality outcomes for their entire organization.
