<p>Job Description Summary:</p> <p>The Manager, IT/YMS Finance is responsible for providing financial oversight, being an effective business partner and collaborating on initiatives, providing financial analysis and actionable data, while assisting with financial close and reporting on results for Lazer's internal IT function and Lazer's software solution business.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities will include the following:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee all financial aspects of Lazer's internal IT function and Lazer's software solution business, while aligning with overall business objectives </li><li>Manage guidance and feedback from CIO, CTO and CFO on all IT investments or opportunities </li><li>Collaborate and prepare budgets & forecasts </li><li>Providing insightful data that is timely and actionable </li><li>IT function and software solution business performance tracking, analysis, and reporting of results, including actual financial metrics, operational metrics, and expenditures vs budget, forecast and prior periods </li><li>Serve as finance project resource, including developing plans, coordinate, communicate, track performance, and spend, analyze, and report upon results </li><li>Month-end close participation </li><li>Financial statement presentation </li><li>Tracking and analysis of software solution opportunities, penetration and profitability </li><li>Capital planning and tracking </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Characteristics:</p> <ul> <li>Superb financial acumen </li><li>Analytical and problem-solving skills </li><li>Self-motivated, action oriented and proactive </li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills </li><li>Technical proficiency </li><li>Flexible and adaptive </li><li>Cost management </li><li>Executive level reporting </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements Education & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or any business-related field of study </li><li>7+ years of Finance or FP&A and leadership experience </li><li>Demonstrated skills necessary for budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, cost management, and process improvement </li><li>Successful project management experience across multiple initiatives and projects </li><li>Finance experience supporting corporate functions and/or business operations and senior leadership </li><li>Accounting or Finance related certifications (preferred) </li><li>Experience within a private equity owned company (preferred) </li><li>Experience in logistics or service-related field (preferred) </li></ul> <p>Lazer Logistics is committed to diversity in its workforce and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
