<p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>The Extraction Associate 1 will be responsible for presentation and packaging of marijuana concentrations.</p> <p>TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT</p> <ul> <li>Work is performed in busy cannabis facility and packaging department. </li><li>The room can be loud due to small machinery, music, air conditioning, ventilation fans, etc. </li><li>Will be in almost constant contact with cannabis concentrates and scales. </li><li>Work can be stressful and can include dealing with daily packaging goals, quotas, and audits. </li><li>Work involves daily exposure to allergens such as cannabis, tree nuts and coconut oil. </li></ul> <p>JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Measure and weigh quantities of concentrates accurately. </li><li>Package and label concentrates. </li><li>All tasks as assigned by management. </li><li>Work additional hours as needed </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to perform tedious tasks. </li><li>Must be able to wear hair nets/beard nets, gloves, and a uniform on a daily basis. </li><li>Work requires periods of prolonged sitting and standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching. </li><li>Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to package cannabis concentrates. </li><li>Requires the ability to perform repetitive movements. </li><li>The normal range of hearing and eyesight is required (can be corrected). </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Good communication skills. </li><li>Basic mathematical skills. </li><li>Ability to adapt to an environment that is ever-changing. </li><li>Ability to adhere to and follow strict policies, SOPs, and guidelines. </li><li>Must have a positive attitude. </li><li>Must possess good organizational skills. </li><li>Must be goal-oriented. </li><li>Must possess the ability to work well with others in a team-centric atmosphere. </li><li>Must be punctual and reliable. </li><li>Must possess problem-solving skills. </li><li>Ability to work with digital scales and perform daily calibration. </li><li>Maintain strict hygiene standards and a clean workspace. </li><li>Account for all components of assigned inventory. </li><li>Thorough understanding of units of measure. </li><li>Ability to follow SOPs. </li><li>Ability to operate small machinery. </li><li>Ability to wear all required PPE: protective eyewear, hair/beard nets, lab jacket, and gloves. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent required. </li></ul> <p>Job Type: Full-time</p> <p>Pay: $15.50 per hour</p> <p>Expected hours: 40 per week</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Dental insurance </li><li>Employee discount </li><li>Health insurance </li><li>Life insurance </li><li>Paid time off </li><li>Vision insurance </li></ul> <p>Work Location: In person</p>
