If you're a team player who thrives in a skilled nursing environment and wants to make a meaningful difference, we encourage you to apply!</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>As a CNA at Visalia Post Acute, you'll play a vital role in delivering daily nursing care and support services to residents in accordance with their individual care plans and our facility standards.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities Include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide routine care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding</p> </li><li> <p>Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper techniques and equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor and record vital signs, weights, and food/fluid intake</p> </li><li> <p>Report changes in resident condition, injuries, and incidents promptly</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain accurate and descriptive documentation on flow sheets and charts</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure resident comfort and safety while promoting dignity and independence</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain clean resident areas and restock supplies as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Uphold resident confidentiality and facility privacy policies (HIPAA compliance)</p> </li><li> <p>Follow all infection control, safety, and facility policies and procedures</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must have a valid California CNA license</p> </li><li> <p>CPR certification preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum education: 10th grade or equivalent</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and work with residents of varying conditions</p> </li><li> <p>Must be dependable, compassionate, and a positive team player</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must be able to lift/move up to 25 pounds</p> </li><li> <p>Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands and arms</p> </li><li> <p>Occasional bending, kneeling, and reaching</p> </li><li> <p>May need to assist in emergency resident evacuations</p> </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Low to moderate noise level in a skilled nursing facility</p> </li><li> <p>Supportive and collaborative work culture</p> </li><li> <p>Opportunities for growth and development</p> </li></ul> <p>Start your rewarding CNA career with Visalia Post Acute-where care meets compassion.
