<p>Electrical Estimator/Journeyman Electrician</p> <p>We are looking for a detail-oriented person with experience with electrical work for industrial applications. This position can be hybrid-we're looking for someone with experience as an electrician who wants to move out of the field into the office. It is open to union or nonunion employees. Join a great team and train with industry professionals at our New Berlin headquarters.</p> <p>Here's what you'll do:</p> <ul> <li>Review proposal specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate. </li><li>Comprehend industrial electrical applications and code. </li><li>Comprehend industrial electrical control schematics and drawings. </li><li>Prepare disciplined estimates by calculating complete take-off of scope of work. </li><li>Coordinate estimating effort relevant to particular estimate as assigned. </li><li>Review and approve take-off and estimates done by estimator trainees under him/her. </li><li>Submit bids and proposals on projects estimates. </li><li>Prepare breakdown of estimate. Provide estimate information to Project Manager. </li><li>Prepare reports as requested. </li><li>Introduce cost saving ideas through redesign (Value Engineering opportunities). </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Industrial electrical field installation experience required </li><li>High School education required </li><li>Any estimating experienced preferred </li><li>Any experience with estimating software is preferred </li><li>2-year technical degree preferred or apprenticeship or equivalent experience </li><li>We are looking for a detail-oriented person with experience with electrical work for industrial applications. </li><li>Read and understand building drawings, specifications, wiring schematics, control wiring diagrams, and ladder wiring diagrams. </li><li>A journeyman electrician with industrial experience would be a preferred candidate. </li></ul>
