TMH is the region's healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region's only:</p> <ul> <li>Level II Trauma Center </li><li>Primary Stroke Center </li><li>Level III Neonatal Intensive Care </li><li>Pediatric Intensive Care </li><li>The most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle. </li></ul> <p>Our system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, six residency programs and more than 50 affiliated physician practices.</p> <p>HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT</p> <p>Your Role:</p> <ul> <li>Oversees clinical nursing education within the Clinical Division, including planning, development, organization, implementation, and direction of nursing practice (e.g., communications, program management, research, professional development, and team relations). </li><li>Keeps current on nursing trends and best practices for clinical integration to improve patient outcomes. </li><li>Establishes and initiates nursing practice improvement plans. </li><li>Conducts educational needs assessments. </li><li>Displays an understanding of diversity. </li><li>Demonstrates integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence (I CARE values). </li><li>Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients. </li><li>Performs miscellaneous duties not expressly described herein. </li></ul> <p>Reports To:</p> <ul> <li>RN [Registered Nurse]/Director Nursing Practice (job code (JC): 035001) </li></ul> <p>Supervises:</p> <ul> <li>RN/Clinical Education Coord (JC: 036903) </li><li>RN/Improvement Advisor (JC: 035503) </li></ul> <p>WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY</p> <p>Required Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in nursing </li></ul> <p>Preferred Education:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree (or equivalent) in nursing </li></ul> <p>Required Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Six (6) years of relevant clinical educator experience. </li><li>Note: Human Resources (HR) may accept up to two (2) years relevant graduate-level nursing education on a 1-year:1-year basis in lieu of required experience </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Experience developing, teaching, and coordinating educational programs for adult learners. </li></ul> <p>Required Certification/License/Registry:</p> <ul> <li>Licensed as an RN in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 464 (Nursing), Part I (Nurse Practice Act) [includes multistate compact licensure]. </li><li>Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.
