We specialize in electronic and structural systems, producing complex products and components for commercial aircraft platforms, mission-critical military and space programs, and sophisticated industrial applications.</p> <p>Why Ducommun?</p> <p>Excellent company culture - as recognized by Newsweek's Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces</p> <p>Clean and climate controlled working environment</p> <p>Opportunity for career growth</p> <p>Great benefits including paid vacation and sick time, 401K match, Employee Stock Purchase Program, annual bonus plan, and certain tuition reimbursement.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <ul> <li>Support the purchasing functions by placing purchase orders from requisitions, maintaining data integrity in the business system, communicating delivery information and organizing files for all purchasing documents. </li><li>Place purchase orders for MRO items and low dollar items as directed by buyer </li><li>Expedite purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of products to support manufacturing </li><li>Perform materials quotation for prices and delivery </li><li>Review material price variances and provide feedback for resolution </li><li>Perform data entry and maintain purchasing data in computer system. </li><li>Update lead times, minimums and multiples, and vendor information for all parts in the system </li><li>Maintain files on all purchase orders, purchase order agreements, supplier surveys, and add new supplier forms </li><li>Follow up on unquoted components during the quote phase </li><li>Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area. </li><li>Perform other assignments as required </li></ul> <p>Skills & Qualifications</p> <p>Required Experience/Education/Training/Certifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred </li><li>Minimum one year relevant purchasing experience required in a manufacturing environment </li></ul> <p>Required Skills & Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>MRP exposure preferred </li><li>Basic level of computer skills: e-mail, Word, and Excel </li><li>Strong communications and interpersonal skills needed </li><li>Abilities listed in the General Requirements of Team Members </li></ul> <p>403 LaBarge Avenue</p> <p>Huntsville, Arkansas, 72740</p> <p>United States</p>
