This postion is needed from October 7, 2025 - December 19, 2025.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <ul> <li>Long term sub for William Henry Harrison High School </li><li>Classes taught: Algebra I, Algebra I CP, Algebra II Adv. </li><li>This is position is from October 7, 2025 - December 19, 2025 </li></ul> <p>Salary Schedule:</p> <p>Days 1-10 - $105 per day</p> <p>Days 11-20 - $125 per day</p> <p>Days 21 - 59 - $150</p> <p>Day 60+ - Teacher salary contract for the remainder time served</p> <p>Teacher hired will be paid for the first 59 days through HCESC's Aesop Substitute Teaching System. Candidate must also apply through www.Subsolutions.org.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide engaging instruction in Algebra I, Algebra I CP and Algebra II Adv. adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs. </li><li>Design and implement formative and summative assessments to evaluate student understanding and guide instructional planning. </li><li>Support students in developing strong mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and communication skills that prepare them for college and career readiness. </li><li>Maintain ongoing communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress through conferences, progress reports, and other established methods. </li><li>Adhere to all federal, state, and district requirements for curriculum, assessment, and student achievement. </li><li>Develop structured daily lesson plans and course pacing guides aligned with Ohio's Learning Standards for Mathematics. </li><li>Collaborate with colleagues, counselors, and support staff to implement student intervention strategies and enrichment opportunities. </li><li>Partner with department members to align curriculum, assessments, and instructional practices across grade levels. </li><li>Establish and maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive classroom environment that promotes high expectations and student engagement. </li><li>Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Ohio's Learning Standards for Mathematics, including Algebra I and II, and integrate technology to enhance instruction. </li></ul> <p>Qualification Profile:</p> <ul> <li>Certification/License - Educator licensure is preferred, Substitute licensure will be considered. </li><li>Passing Background and Fingerprint examination. </li></ul> <p>Additional Duties:</p> <p>Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.</p> <p>Note:The above description is illustrative of tasks and responsibilities.
