<p>Position Summary</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform inspections on product produced by machine for quality.</p> </li><li> <p>Operate equipment to cycle rate.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor machines for problems that may arise so that quality and performance are maintained.</p> </li><li> <p>Troubleshoot basic and intermediate machine problems and quality issues.</p> </li><li> <p>Check raw materials for quality before loading into machine.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare all materials that are to be loaded into the machine.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare tooling for changeovers.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform machine changeovers.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform machine cleaning, basic PM and maintenance tasks to standard.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned by management.</p> </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Alert Supervisor and maintenance personnel of any problems that may arise.</p> </li><li> <p>Make machine adjustments as necessary to produce products that meet company specifications.</p> </li><li> <p>Order raw materials.</p> </li><li> <p>Make sure all materials are loaded into the machine in a quick, efficient manner so that downtime is limited.</p> </li><li> <p>Count and record rejected products and scrap material.</p> </li><li> <p>Keep work area clean, free from debris and compliant with 5S markings.</p> </li><li> <p>Clean machine and work area at the end of each shift.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure that all personnel are following plant safety guidelines.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete production reports.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as assigned by management</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li> <p>May be required to lift up to approximately 35 pounds</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to stand at work station for a long period of time</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to use both hands in a repetitive motion</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes and dust particles</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to travel throughout the facility to obtain information needed to perform job functions</p> </li><li> <p>Competencies:</p> </li><li> <p>Coordination - Adjust action in relation to other's actions</p> </li><li> <p>Monitoring - Monitor/Assess performance of yourself, and team, to make improvements or corrective action.</p> </li><li> <p>Quality Control Analysis - Conduct inspection of product to evaluate quality</p> </li><li> <p>Critical Thinking - using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, and approaches to issues.</p> </li><li> <p>Mechanical Aptitude - understand functions and mechanics of equipment and be able to troubleshoot problems.</p> </li><li> <p>Time Management - manage one's own time</p> </li><li> <p>Active Listening - give full attention to what others are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions when appropriate, and not interrupting.</p> </li><li> <p>Team Work - work collaboratively with peers to maintain production and quality of product, including safety, quality, and delivery of finished goods.</p> </li><li> <p>Continuous Improvement Mind Set - Understand and track causation for lost cycle time, scrap and output and actively seek solutions to improve metrics.</p> </li></ul> <p>Equal Employment Opportunity</p> <p>Parker is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
