Apply now and help shape the future of sterile processing and patient care.</p> <ul> <li>Associate degree in nursing, business, or related field required. </li><li>5 years of experience in Central Sterile Processing or Surgical Technology required. </li><li>3 years supervisory or team lead experience required. </li><li>Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution or Certified Registered Central Service Technician provisional certification and passed exam required. </li><li>Must complete 10 hours of continuing education to remain qualified as a Central Sterile Technician on an annual basis. </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with peers, physicians, staff of other hospital departments, and outside contacts. </li><li>Must be able to stand for all shift hours and be able to pick up, push, pull, etc. 35 pounds. </li></ul> <p>Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:</p> <ul> <li>Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution OR Certified Registered Central Service Technician with Healthcare Sterile Processing Association </li><li>Act 34 </li></ul> <p>UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran</p>
