This special education teacher will coordinate and provide a structured program designed for students requiring behavioral, social, emotional, and academic support. Specialized instruction is provided in a smaller structured setting within the special education classroom on an individual basis. Students on this caseload will also have access to counseling support and other related service personnel as outlined in their IEPs. Consultation will be provided to the program teacher by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and school psychologist and/or social worker. Students on this caseload will also participate in regular education classes with support and collaboration between the regular education teachers and the special education teacher on an individual basis per their IEP.</p> <p>South Windsor is a diverse community of approximately 27,000 citizens and more than 5,000 public school students.
