<p>About this Opportunity:</p> <p>As an Account Manager, you will assist the team members in sales efforts to promote the growth and retention of agreements and relationships and will find ways to gain new revenue at Tier 2 Broker Dealer Relationships. This role supports the team member's ability to develop relationships with clients, prospects, partners, and the technology and asset management external and internal sales teams. As we continue to evolve and live our Orion values, we are looking for someone to grow with us.</p> <p>For External Candidates:</p> <p>Candidates must work in-office at one of the following locations for at least 3 days per week: Omaha, NE; Sacramento, CA; Hebron, KY; Lehi, UT; Chandler, AZ; Berwyn, PA.</p> <p>For Internal Candidates:</p> <p>All internal employees, regardless of their current work arrangement (remote or in-office), are encouraged to apply.</p> <p>In this role, you'll get to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist team members in tracking and reporting new and expanded agreements and relationships to gain new revenue</p> </li><li> <p>Identify key people and relationships at BDs, strategists, custodians, and other industry intermediaries to facilitate, strengthen, and deliver key communication to nurture those relationships</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with internal and external sales teams to create sales opportunities and accelerate the sales process with quarterly strategic calls generating leads with strategists and their sales teams</p> </li><li> <p>Build relationships with fellow team members covering strategists, custodians, integration partners, industry consultants, top BD/RIA clients, large institutions and other similar opportunities, and Orion Sales team members</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and detailed CRM database for the profiling of all relationships, sales funnel, notes, calendar, appointments, and other pertinent information</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with the preparation of and communicating a profile/ at a glance view for each relationship on a regular basis</p> </li><li> <p>Help team members in preparation and follow up of regularly attended conferences, webinars and conference calls, engage in other activities to build new relationships, and enhance existing ones</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate, execute, and follow up on quarterly strategic calls across all channels with all team members</p> </li><li> <p>Continually learn and become proficient in all of Orion's product offerings</p> </li><li> <p>Assign and successful in attaining individual and team goals and the tracking of those and other key metrics</p> </li><li> <p>Establish metrics to track success and progress and provide a monthly report to the Executive Team or as an as needed basis</p> </li></ul> <p>We're looking for talent who:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Has knowledge and understanding of 1940 Act, Orion products and services and the marketplace, competitors, key partners, and the general financial industry</p> </li><li> <p>Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related role</p> </li><li> <p>Has a minimum of 2 years of experience in financial services sales related role</p> </li><li> <p>Obtain Orion Industry Certification</p> </li><li> <p>Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization</p> </li></ul> <p>#LI-AP1</p> <p>#LI-Onsite</p> <p>#LI-Hybrid</p> <p>About Us</p> <p>At Orion, we achieve our best work when we support one another, staying personally accountable to each other and the clients we serve.
