<p>We are seeking an Education Assistant at the Boutwell Early Childhood Center to support students with and without disabilities in achieving their educational goals. The Educational Assistant will be responsible for the following: Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist the classroom teacher in implementing academic, social, and emotional/behavioral interventions within the general education classroom or any other setting within the school where instruction may be occurring. </li><li>Provide students with a variety of supports (academic, social, and emotional/behavioral) with learning activities developed by the classroom teacher to meet the varied and individual needs of each student. </li><li>Support the classroom teacher in delivering academic, social, and emotional/behavioral interventions in the general education classroom and other instructional settings. Work with students individually and in small groups to enhance learning outcomes. </li><li>Collect data on students' progress toward academic, social, and emotional/behavioral goals to inform ongoing assessment, IEP goals, and instructional planning. </li><li>Assist classroom teacher by implementing student accommodations according to individual IEP. </li><li>Perform diaper changing or assistance with toileting. </li><li>Work collaboratively with special education, classroom teacher, support staff, and grade level colleagues. </li><li>Participate in meetings, Safety Care training, and professional development opportunities as assigned by the building or district administration. </li></ul>
