We are a member of the nationwide Trinity Health family, bringing compassionate care to our communities.</p> <p>Position Purpose:</p> <p>The Housekeeping Aide I maintains all assigned hospital areas in a clean, sanitary, safe and attractive condition.</p> <p>What you will do:</p> <ul> <li>Performs cleaning functions in assigned areas following correct procedures. </li><li>Collect and dispose of all soiled linen and trash according to instructions. </li><li>Performs cleaning procedures for isolation rooms as prescribed by written Housekeeping Isolation Procedures. </li><li>Maintains commitment to Safety Procedures of the Hospital. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Position requires ability to constantly lift objects more than 20 lbs., perform simple manipulative and gross body coordination skills; walk, stand and sit for prolonged periods; see objects closely and far away and hear normal sounds with some background noises.</p> </li><li> <p>Frequent contact with water and germicide solutions on a daily basis, soil linen, handling of biologically unclean material, and bio-medical waste.
