We are looking for a highly motivated and team-oriented applicant to deburr or polish surfaces of parts using a variety of small hand power tools and materials.</p> <p>Location: XXX, CT</p> <p>Reports to: Production Supervisor</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</p> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform.</p> <ul> <li>Processes major aerospace parts per customer specifications </li><li>Creates edge breaks and removes burrs per work instructions or blueprint </li><li>Polishes machined edges and surfaces per work instructions or blueprint </li><li>Manual break of edges and shoe shine of broach slots </li><li>Process holes per customer specifications and work instructions </li><li>Uses various tools and methods to check dimensions of completed deburr work </li><li>Processing of blisk surface finish/transition lines of blades using hand held power tools </li><li>Rework of aerospace parts to conform to customer blueprint per work instructions </li><li>Washing parts </li><li>Participate in training as required </li><li>Executes duties as assigned by supervisor </li><li>5-10% Domestic Travel required </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift, push, or pull at least 35 lbs. </li><li>Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend, and move about our facility </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be a "US Person" as defined by US Government and able to work without restriction with ITAR related data </li><li>High School Diploma or GED required </li><li>3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment </li><li>2 to 4 years of trade school, vocational education, work experience and/or apprenticeship preferred </li></ul> <p>AAP Statement</p> <p>Hanwha Aerospace USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
