This role is responsible for ensuring the pharmacy delivers optimal drug therapy to patients through proper drug selection, dosage, and cost-effectiveness. The Team Lead will develop, implement, and coordinate pharmacy programs, provide oversight for clinical and operational initiatives, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care while maintaining all safety and regulatory standards.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide operational management by troubleshooting daily pharmacy workflow issues, managing system problems, and serving as the primary escalation point for staff. </li><li>Lead people management activities, including time and attendance oversight, performance management, disciplinary actions, and career development discussions. </li><li>Oversee technician scheduling and work to maintain a strong team culture and accountability. </li><li>Manage strategic projects, including the implementation of new workflows and the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs). </li><li>Identify and execute strategic priorities in collaboration with leadership. </li><li>Collaborate with pharmacy staff, nursing, providers, and other internal partners to resolve operational challenges. </li><li>Supervise a team of approximately 10-15 full-time and PRN technicians and pharmacists. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in a hospital pharmacy setting is required. </li><li>Demonstrated leadership exposure and experience in HR management functions. </li></ul> <p>Licensure:</p> <ul> <li>Must be a South Carolina Licensed Pharmacist or immediately eligible. Candidates must have passed the South Carolina Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination (MPJE) prior to an offer being extended. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This is a full-time, on-site position based in Orangeburg, SC.
