<p>DuBois & King, Inc., is seeking a CAD REVIT Designer with 2+ years of CAD REVIT designer experience to be based in our rapidly growing Building Services division.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare technical reports and fire alarm drawings. </li><li>Conduct field surveys of existing buildings. </li><li>Work with Special Inspections and Code Consulting teams to provide fully integrated fire and life safety solutions in response to client project needs. </li><li>Manage multiple project deadlines with varying priorities. </li><li>Represent the company in a professional manner in all dealings with owners, architects, vendors, other design professionals and contractors. </li><li>Enhance the firm's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing internal and external client requests. </li><li>Demonstrate core values and serves as a role model/mentor to all firm members. </li><li>Update job knowledge and technical expertise by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, participating in technical organizations and obtaining certifications in area of expertise and participating in the firm's Technical Committee as requested. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associates or Bachelor's degree in engineering required </li><li>Minimum of 3-7 years' experience </li><li>Experience to include: Facilities surveys, reports, feasibility studies, design, specifications, cost estimating, and construction activity support. </li><li>Knowledge of Engineering drafting standards </li><li>Demonstrable understanding of construction process and interpretation of construction drawings. </li><li>Knowledge of AutoCad, REVIT and Microsoft Office suite </li><li>Good communication skills </li><li>Other Skills/Abilities: Team oriented, professional, self-starter, with positive attitude and multi-tasking capability </li><li>Knowledge of building code standards preferred </li></ul> <p>DuBois & King, Inc., an employee owned company, was established in 1962 and has grown to over 10 locations in the Northeast, New York and New Mexico.</p> <p>We offer a competitive salary, health benefits, generous vacation time and a long term retirement plan through our 401(K) and Employee Stock Ownership Plan.</p> <p>DuBois & King, Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
