<p>The purpose of the Inventory Control Manager position is to ensure all aspects of inventory control (physical inventory and administrative) for the facility are accurate and complete.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Process compliance, monitoring and auditing for both Inbound and outbound coordinators. </li><li>Process compliance, monitoring and auditing of Physical and perpetual inventory functions. </li><li>Process compliance and audit responsibility for all of the Logistics coordinators. </li><li>Responsible for Bi monthly Inventory snapshots that are submitted to Customer </li><li>Communicates daily with Customer personnel regarding Inventory adjustments </li><li>Ultimate responsibility for HOLD categories regarding Product that has been either flagged or released </li><li>Works closely with Inventory leads to ensure 24/7 Inventory accuracy. </li><li>Process management lead when changes need to happen in the Customer environment </li><li>Responsible for purging slow moving and obsolete inventory for the Customer </li><li>Responsible for CHEP pallet accountability and weekly reconciliation </li><li>Responsible for the training and cross training of all direct reports. </li><li>Responsible to be expert at all Customer and Covenant WMS functionality. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Excellent communication skills in person, or by computer, telephone, 2-way radio, cell phone </li><li>Knowledge of hazardous material </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to falling objects and forklift traffic </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving ability </li><li>Know or be able to learn HighJump WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), Oracle, and/or SAP Operating System. </li><li>Know or be able to learn WMS and customer ERP if necessary </li><li>Proficient Skills utilizing Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) </li></ul> <p>Education/Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required </li><li>Food grade facility experience, a plus </li><li>HighJump WMS experience, a plus </li><li>SAP experience, a plus </li></ul> <p>Competitive Compensation</p> <p>Covenant's compensation philosophy's intent is to use a competitive total compensation strategy to determine the current market value of a position while also considering individual factors such as performance in current position, time in seat of current position, experience, level of responsibility/accountability, and longevity with the company.
