This role ensures continuous system operations through handson participation in roundtheclock mission support and demonstrates competence across all aspects of system operations and maintenance.</p> <p>Impact of the Role</p> <p>The Operations Specialist Senior directly supports mission assurance by maintaining uninterrupted Missile Warning operations. This position plays a critical role in system availability, operational reliability, and rapid response to mission events within a 24/7 operational environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Provide senior-level support to Missile Warning and Test operations teams</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support 24/7 operations, ensuring continuous system availability</p> </li><li> <p>Perform system operations and maintenance in accordance with approved operational procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor system performance and respond to operational events and anomalies</p> </li><li> <p>Support shift operations, handovers, and continuity of operations</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate with engineering and integration teams to resolve operational issues</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure compliance with operational, safety, and security requirements</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Knowledge & Technical Expertise</p> <p>24/7 mission operations environments</p> <ul> <li> <p>System operations and sustainment</p> </li><li> <p>Operational procedures and maintenance practices</p> </li><li> <p>Mission monitoring and operational event response</p> </li><li> <p>Team-based operations in high-reliability environments</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience supporting 24/7 operations for DoD, space, or mission-critical systems</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in a technical, operational, or related discipline</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated experience performing system operations and maintenance</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work rotating shifts and support continuous operations</p> </li><li> <p>Active TS/SCI clearance</p> </li></ul>
