The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques, safety protocols, and quality control measures. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform welding operations on carbon steel pipes. </li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine welding requirements. </li><li>Set up and operate welding equipment, including power sources, torches, and wire feeders. </li><li>Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. </li><li>Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools. </li><li>Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. </li><li>Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time and within budget. </li><li>Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding preferred. </li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in pipe welding, specifically with carbon steel. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. </li><li>Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team. </li><li>Good communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Must comply with Nova Group's core values for the safe and efficient operation of the business and maintain sound relationships among and with employees. </li></ul> <p>Pay:</p> <ul> <li>Prevailing wage ($30 - $70) including Health and Welfare Fringe Benefits and Cash Fringes </li><li>401k </li><li>Wellness Program </li></ul> <p>We are committed to helping individuals with disabilities participate in the workforce and ensuring equal opportunity to apply and compete for jobs.
