This role oversees and coordinates nurse educators to identify educational gaps and meet the learning needs of inpatient nursing units, the Emergency Department, and procedural services. The RN Manager of Clinical Education plays a key role in advancing patient care, nursing practice, safety, and quality through evidence-based education aligned with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. This leader fosters a professional practice environment that supports strong clinical operations and positive nursing and patient outcomes. Responsibilities: Supervisory # Leadership Responsibilities #Lead and supervise Nurse Clinical Educators and hospital-wide nursing education programs #Manage nursing school partnerships, volunteer training, and the Board Immersion program #Oversee onboarding, orientation, nurse residency, and new graduate programs.#Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical education policies, competencies, and annual education plans #Lead staff development through skills labs, competency validation, mentorship, and ongoing education #Use quality metrics and data to assess education effectiveness and patient care outcomes #Collaborate with nursing leaders, Quality, Regulatory Readiness, HR, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure compliance, readiness, and sustained practice standards #Administer continuing nursing education (CNE), LMS, AHA certifications, and major education events #Coordinate clinical education requests across nursing and ancillary departments #Serve as a clinical education resource supporting evidence-based practice, change management, and process improvement.
