<p>Overview</p> <p>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>As an Electrical CAD Designer/Drafter II you will have the opportunity to do the following::</p> <ul> <li>Provide insight to the ins and outs of drafting and designing in a professional environment for United States Submarines! </li><li>Conduct ship checks on SSN 688/688I, SEAWOLF, VIRGINIA and OHIO Class submarines. </li><li>Conduct research of submarine construction drawings. </li><li>Develop 2D shipboard interconnect cabling diagrams. </li><li>Develop Wiring Tables, Elementary Wiring Diagrams, and List of Materials. </li><li>Interpret Government Furnished Information (GFI) to meet design requirements. </li><li>Supervise/aid/mentor Designer/Drafter I coworkers. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance. </li><li>High School Diploma or GED or Technical School CAD Certificate or A.S. / B.S.
