<p>What does a Lead Employee Relations Partner do at Swire Coca-Cola?</p> <p>The Lead Employee Relations Partner Conducts independent investigations of highly complex HR-related concerns. Examples include investigations involving Title XII, Sr. Leadership, and other escalations in order to thoroughly find, reach investigative conclusions, recommend resolutions and mitigate risk to the franchise within prescribed timeframes. The role requires a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments in Employee Relations investigations and Employment Law and contributes to the discipline's directional strategy. This role will also act as a mentor to Sr Employee Relations Partners.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Counsels managers and provides solid recommendations on how to handle employee concerns and complaints </li><li>Partners with managers on difficult performance management and disciplinary actions, ensuring that such matters are handled in a fair and consistent manner </li><li>Helps gather data regarding employee relations issues so that trends can be identified and proactive responses can be administered that improve the workplace for all employees </li><li>Conducts internal investigations into employee complaints, such as complaints regarding harassment, discrimination, bullying, and other similar issues </li><li>Responds to anonymous complaints filed through Swire Voice or other reporting mechanisms </li><li>Assists with the creation, updates, or implementation of new policies or practices relating to Employee Relations </li><li>Assists with the investigation, information gathering, and response to employee administrative claims and legal actions </li><li>Coach and mentor Sr. Employee Relations Partner group </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in business, HR or related field or equivalent relevant experience </li><li>6-8 years of general HR experience required </li><li>4-6 years of dedicated experience in employee relations investigations preferred </li><li>Extensive experience in employee relations role </li><li>Extensive experience conducting internal investigations </li><li>Ability to communicate clearly during difficult conversations and reduce tension </li><li>Knowledge of multiple state employment laws </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Proficiency with Word, Excel, Power Point </li><li>Good understanding of federal employment laws (Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, etc.), and ability to learn multiple state leave laws </li><li>Good understanding of internal investigation best practices </li><li>Excellent customer services skills, with the ability to build relationships with managers and others within the organization, ability to prioritize, excellent organizational skills </li><li>Experience working in Logistics, Sales, or Retail environments preferred </li><li>Excellent verbal communication and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management across all functional areas, particularly senior levels. </li><li>Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and accuracy </li></ul> <p>#LI-HH1</p>
