This role requires both highly creative and strategic thinking, with a focus on supporting the development and execution of impactful social media strategies such as content ideation, content creation, growing a loyal online community and working closely on influencer campaigns. We are looking for someone who is on the pulse of all culture and beauty trends that can create relevant content to live across our owned social media channels.</p> <p>This role will focus on content creation, social media management, community engagement and influencer content to drive brand awareness, audience growth, and engagement across all social platforms. The ideal candidate is an expert in social storytelling, understands platform-specific best practices, and can seamlessly blend creative content with data-driven insights to optimize performance. You will manage daily content publishing on Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms, contributing to content ideation, creation, and trend adaptation for content creators and influencers. We are looking for individuals with highly creative and gen-z-first communication skills who are chronically online and can articulate brand messaging in a concise, witty and insightful way. Must have a big passion and in-the-know of beauty, social media, viral trends, and customer experiences.</p> <p>PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:</p> <p>Content Creation & Creative Support: Owned + Influencer</p> <ul> <li>Research, brainstorm and recommend ideas for original content & viral trends in a timely manner for owned channels & influencer support. </li><li>Monitor and share new beauty industry trends and competitive insights. </li><li>Shoot and edit compelling and shareable content for various social media channels, ensuring there is alignment with brand values, being consumer-first, leading with creativity, innovation, and cultural relevance. </li><li>Support brand content coverage and behind-the-scenes content capture at photoshoots, video shoots, events and in-off content with employees. </li><li>Copywriting owned channel copy; identifying keywords and hashtags for content publishing to optimize SEO. </li><li>Source and recommend relevant content creators, influencers and like-minded partners for launches and campaigns. </li><li>Monitor emerging platforms and trends to keep Revlon & Almay at the forefront of digital innovation </li></ul> <p>Content Management</p> <ul> <li>Work with content creators and influencers to create compelling social media content that aligns with Revlon's brand values, product priorities and cultural moments </li><li>Support the execution of social media & influencer campaigns, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve campaign objectives </li><li>Support Social Media Manager on social content creator selection, content briefing & content feedback </li><li>Work with internal and external creative teams and agencies on monthly social media briefs that align with priorities and culture. </li><li>Manage product inventory & orders for internal and external use </li></ul> <p>Community Management Growth & Support</p> <ul> <li>Maintain a social content calendar, ensuring timely and relevant posts across all platforms. </li><li>Be the voice of Revlon & Almay on social media across our priority platforms, responding to audience interactions in a timely manner. </li><li>Engage with Revlon community, content creators, influencers and UGC tagged content daily through all priority platforms including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube </li><li>Own content publishing, scheduling and re-editing to fit platform when necessary </li><li>Respond to Comments, DM's and Mentions daily in a timely manner; track & share consumer sentiment and UGC around brand </li><li>Ideate content ideas based on day-to-day social media community sentiment and mentions and proactively share with the team. </li><li>Partner with Customer Service team to proactively develop FAQ's and responses to all customer inquiries around products and orders </li><li>Engaging with relevant viral content that may not mention Revlon/Almay, but could increase brand awareness </li><li>Provide support to the team, including creative asset organization </li></ul> <p>Key Experience, Skills and Personal Attributes</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, or a related field, </li><li>5+ years of prior work experience in social media / beauty preferred </li><li>Expert understanding of social media platforms (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube) </li><li>Proven skills in content creation, editing, copywriting, and graphic design </li><li>Working knowledge of Canva, Capcut/Video Leap, Adobe Creative Suite; knowledge of social monitoring platforms like Traakr, HootSuite & Meta Business Manager is a huge plus! </li><li>A creative and strategic thinker who strives to bring innovative ideas to the table; a positive attitude with strong ambition to grow the brand </li><li>Highly knowledgeable and passionate about the beauty community, social media & pop-culture trends </li><li>Experience working and negotiating with influencers and content creators </li><li>Extremely organized, detail-oriented and deadline driven; collaborative with cross-functional teams </li><li>Must feel comfortable to be on front-of-camera (as-needed) for content creation, makeup artistry experience is a MAJOR plus! </li><li>Must be willing to handle community management duties on social platforms during weekends or holiday </li></ul> <p>#LI-AH1 #LI-Onsite</p> <p>The base pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $125,000.00/ year; however base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and geographic location. Certain positions may also be eligible for short-term incentives as part of total compensation.</p> <p>Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits. Employees are covered by the company-paid basic life insurance policy and company-paid short-term disability insurance (the benefit commences upon hire and allows for a portion of base salary for up to 26 weeks if you are disabled). Other benefits offered to employees include but are not limited to the following: long-term disability, supplemental life insurances, flexible spending accounts, critical illness insurance, group legal, identity theft protection, etc. Employees are also able to enroll in our 401k Retirement Savings Plan.</p> <p>Employees will also receive 3 weeks of vacation, pro-rated based on date of hire for the 1st year of employment and twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
