Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>MBA or MS in Accounting with significant relevant accounting experience and demonstrated teaching success with accounting material. OR Earned doctorate in either accounting or related field and demonstrated teaching success with accounting material. ABD will be considered with stipulation that doctorate is completed by time of appointment. </li><li>All applicants must have the potential to meet the Department's qualification criteria for AACSB standards, which may include scholarly academic, practice academic, scholarly practitioner, or instructional practitioner classifications. </li></ul> <p>Additional:</p> <ul> <li>Teaching experience in accounting courses such as: </li><li>Financial accounting </li><li>Managerial or Cost Accounting </li><li>Tax Accounting </li><li>Auditing </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>CPA or public accounting experience </li><li>Refereed journal articles or work in other scholarly or practitioner publication outlets in the accounting field within the last five years </li><li>Experience in teaching, mentoring, and/or research </li><li>Experience working with and or serving diverse populations and/or multicultural populations </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>SUNY Oneonta enrolls about 5,500 students who pursue bachelor's or master's degrees or certificates in one of 70-plus academic programs.
