<p>Job Title: Lead Direct Support Professional - Day Program</p> <p>Location: Hopkins and Golden Valley, MN and surrounding Twin Cities locations</p> <p>Schedule: 40 hours a week: Four days a week and every other weekend needing to be available from the hours of 6am-11pm for scheduling purposes</p> <p>Wage: $22.00 per hour including Full Time benefits</p> <p>Essential Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Split time between direct support (approximately 10 hours per week) and office/administrative tasks (approximately 25-30 hours per week), with flexibility based on program needs. </li><li>Support individuals with disabilities in finding community employment and participating in leisure/job-seeking activities at the day program site in Hopkins. </li><li>Provide support to individuals at their job sites and assist with day program activities. </li><li>Maintain enthusiasm and a positive attitude while working with individuals. </li><li>Assist with administrative tasks, including: exploring additional job sites and making community connections, managing documentation, filing, and schedules, and communicating with team members and attending meetings. </li><li>Completing paperwork related to outcomes and program plans. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>21 years of age or older </li><li>Proficient in spoken and written English language </li><li>Comfortable providing personal cares (including but not limited to: bathroom supports, bathing/showering, medication administration) </li><li>Successful clearance of Department of Human Services background check </li><li>Successful clearance of Motor Vehicle Background Check and acceptable driving record per Company Policy </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience:</p> <ul> <li>At least 1 year supporting individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, and/or mental health diagnosis </li><li>At least 1 year working with individuals with verbal and physical aggressions </li><li>Experience implementing Emergency Use of Manuel Restraints (applicable at select programs) </li></ul> <p>#INDZEN1</p>
