That means we're continually seeking diligent, determined performers who think outside the box to help us find better and more efficient ways to manufacture our vehicles.</p> <p>Manufacturing Engineer - APD Platform Execution</p> <p>A platform strategy is a crucial, enterprise-wide approach that leverages a common, flexible, and scalable vehicle architecture. This creates investment and engineering efficiency while improving volume (scale) on parts for material cost leverage. This strategy also enables flexibility with each platform underpinning a bandwidth of vehicles that can be interchangeably produced in all planned assembly plants.</p> <p>As a Platform Execution Engineer, this pivotal, highly visible role sits within our Architecture, Program Engineering & Delivery (APD) department shaping future model programs to be leaders in the industry using the platform approach. The APD-Platform Execution team acts on early insights with the Product Development (PD) team to optimize all aspects of new model production.
