<p>Tailored Brands</p> <p>Position Title: Cut Planner/Marker Maker</p> <p>Department: Accumark</p> <p>Tend To: Department Manager - Vanessa Borges Pires</p> <p>Location: New Bedford, MA</p> <p>Shift: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm</p> <p>Summer Hours June - August 6am - 2:30pm</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Process orders in the most efficient layout. Accumark software will be used daily to make markers. Using Gerber/Accumark CAD in conjunction with automated and manual systems such as Accunest. Cut Planning using Morgan Tecnica software that will compute spreads by fabric types, color, sizes, styles, and quantities. Gerbers MTM/ Batch software that will apply selected attributes as required for meeting manufacturing processes. Set-up, editing and positioning of patterns with accuracy using Accumarks Model Editor. Maintain plotter efficiencies, manage plot que's, paper usage, roll changes, calibrations and ink.</p> <p>Additional job responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Run yield data monthly </li><li>Setting up Accumark rules, model files and lay limits </li><li>Create and maintain new storage areas/data bases every season or as needed </li><li>Process samples as received from Design office </li><li>Process repairs as requested from manufacturing </li><li>Work with the Design/Quality Departments as needed </li></ul> <p>All job requirements will be trained.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>In order to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.</p> <ul> <li>Extreme attention to detail required </li><li>Maintain deadlines, schedules and be self-motivated </li><li>Strong computer skills, working knowledge of MS Office (word, excel, outlook, and ability to troubleshoot when necessary </li><li>Strong analytical skills </li><li>Comfortable working independently and with a team-based work structure </li><li>Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, while maintaining a positive attitude </li><li>Must be responsible and comply with company regulations </li><li>Ability to effectively communicate information, both orally and written </li><li>Overtime as needed and may be asked to start earlier based on manufacturing needs </li><li>Ability to lift 90 pounds </li></ul> <p>Pay</p> <p>The starting rate for this position is $19.85- $25.77 and may increase to $31.73 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual's skills, background, and experience in determining final salary.</p>
