<p>MPS Group, Inc., is seeking a Purchasing Analyst to join us at our Headquarters located in Farmington Hills, MI. This individual will be responsible for purchasing tasks and special projects assigned by Purchasing Manager with focus on building relationships with outside suppliers and internal stakeholders.</p> <p>Responsibilities and Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Complete routine purchasing tasks and data entry as assigned by Purchasing Manager for multiple divisions within MPS. </li><li>Support the Supplier Management program regarding Certificates of Insurance and other Supplier Management documentation. </li><li>Participate in PPO approvals, PO revisions, and additional purchasing processes as back up to other purchasing positions. </li><li>Gain understanding of workflows within MS Dynamics Great Plains system and DocLink software. </li><li>Handle multiple priorities simultaneously with strong attention to detail. </li></ul> <p>Requirements and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>HS Diploma or equivalent with preference for associate degree (Business or Technical). </li><li>Minimum 3 years of purchasing and/or accounts payable experience (exposure to and involvement with coordination of purchasing and operations; supplier relations; invoice processing). </li><li>Must be diplomatic, persuasive, and able to establish good rapport with internal and external stakeholders. </li><li>Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills are required. </li><li>Excellent planning and time management skills. </li><li>Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with focus on Excel. </li><li>Work experience with business process management software (ERP) and automated workflows. </li><li>Clear and concise written and oral communication with suppliers, purchasing, accounts payable, management and operations. </li><li>Working in an office environment in a seated position a minimum of eight hours per day is required. </li></ul>
