Competitive compensation and up to $25k sign on/retention bonus depending on experience.</p> <p>The Immediate Care Clinician will provide primary care to patients following accepted standards and protocols and will function as part of a team, seeing patients on a scheduled and walk-in basis and direct their clinical care together with other members of the care team.</p> <p>Provide direct patient care including pre-operative care, post-hospital follow-ups, physical exams (up to four physical exams per day, 30 minutes per exam) and urgent care, as well as telehealth care as needed.</p> <p>The Immediate Care clinicians will participate in regularly scheduled Immediate Care team meetings with the goal of maximizing the efficiency of the care process and designing and implementing standing orders to guide patient care and decrease clinical and administrative workload for Optimus' primary care clinicians.</p> <p>Job Qualifications/Requirements</p> <p>Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of patients in a diverse community.</p> <p>Ability to work independently, and to interact with colleagues and other staff in a team environment.</p> <p>Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.</p> <p>Comprehensive knowledge of modern principles and techniques of general medicine and public health, as traditionally practiced.</p> <p>Ability to work well under pressure analyzes and evaluates individual member's needs, reach sound conclusions, and make appropriate recommendations.</p> <p>Must hold MD, DO, from an accredited medical school; BA/BS, MS preferred.
