<p>Job Title: Market Manager, Surgical Endoscopy & GI</p> <p>Reports To: Associate Director of Marketing, Surgical Endoscopy & GI</p> <p>Location: Columbia, MD (highly preferred)</p> <p>Position Summary: The Market Manager will lead all downstream marketing efforts in North America (U.S. and Canada) for Ambu's single-use gastroscope portfolio within the Surgical Endoscopy & GI Franchise. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to build brand value, optimize sales, grow market share, and ensure product line profitability. This role is ideal for an energetic, analytical, and highly collaborative marketer with a proven track record of driving growth in competitive markets, achieving key objectives, and successfully launching and managing products across multiple markets.</p> <p>Essential Functions and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement downstream marketing strategies to drive awareness, adoption, and market value for Ambu's gastroscope portfolio in the surgical endoscopy and GI markets. </li><li>Continuously evaluate product line performance, including financial targets, competitive positioning, and KPIs, and provide monthly business updates to the Director of Marketing. </li><li>Serve as the product portfolio owner by collaborating with marketing, sales, corporate accounts, finance, and other cross-functional teams. </li><li>Consistently analyze market trends and identify opportunities for penetration to achieve real-time objectives. </li><li>Optimize market positioning and pricing strategies to maintain competitive advantage. </li><li>Develop compelling business cases for annual planning and marketing investments. </li><li>Create and execute marketing communication plans across all platforms to ensure consistent messaging. </li><li>Maintain brand consistency in product design and marketing communications, including at trade shows. </li><li>Develop tools and resources for all key stakeholders to support sales and drive adoption. </li><li>Build relationships with key opinion leaders, establish advisory boards, and collaborate with Societies and Associations. </li><li>Partner with sales management to evaluate and validate the effectiveness of marketing strategies. </li><li>Assess growth opportunities, identify product gaps, and conduct market research to guide innovation and R&D efforts. </li><li>Create training programs for sales teams and end-users, as needed. </li><li>Plan and execute impactful new product launches to achieve commercialization goals. </li><li>Ensure budgetary targets are met and provide input for demand planning and inventory forecasts. </li><li>Present business updates and activity reports at marketing meetings and business reviews. </li><li>Coordinate across geographies and teams to build internal support and accomplish business goals. </li><li>Support cross-portfolio tactical activities as needed. </li><li>Travel: Up to 50% travel for trade shows, conferences, business meetings, and customer visits. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field. </li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and product management in medical device/pharma, GI experience preferred. </li><li>Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision. </li><li>Expertise with Microsoft office, especially Power Point and Excel. </li><li>Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. </li></ul> <p>Skills & Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Strong work ethic and initiative. </li><li>High-degree of ownership and accountability. </li><li>Proven ability to manage large workflows and multiple projects simultaneously. </li><li>Excellent relationship-building skills across all organizational levels. </li><li>Experience designing, evaluating, and validating marketing strategies. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to present ideas and business cases effectively. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel. </li><li>Experience with new product development and launches. </li><li>Analytical and budget management expertise. </li><li>Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Experience working with and supporting a direct sales force. </li></ul> <p>#LIHybrid</p>
