Check your eligibility here: HRSA Eligibility.</p> <p>Required Education, Skills & Qualifications</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a social or health services field (required). </li><li>Master's degree in a social or health services field (preferred). </li><li>Degree must be from an accredited college or university. </li></ul> <p>Experience & Knowledge:</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings (outpatient, residential, or correctional facilities). </li><li>Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone. </li><li>Skilled in conducting individual and group counseling sessions focused on substance use recovery. </li><li>Knowledge of evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and relapse prevention techniques. </li><li>Strong documentation skills, including maintaining clinical notes, treatment plans, and progress updates in compliance with state and federal guidelines. </li><li>Understanding of state regulatory standards (e.g., 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, Joint Commission). </li><li>Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team (medical staff, case managers, peer support specialists). </li></ul> <p>Preferred Licenses/Certifications:</p> <ul> <li>Certified Addiction Counselor (ADC/AADC) </li><li>National Certified Addiction Counselor (NCAC I/NCAC II) </li><li>Master Addiction Counselor (MAC) </li><li>Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) </li></ul> <p>We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants for employment regardless of an individual's characteristics protected by applicable state, federal, and local laws.</p> <p>AHCTC</p> <p>#LI-CTC</p> <p>#LI-AG1</p>
