Will be responsible for maintaining patients' room service card files. Other job-related tasks as needed. Communication with other hospital disciplines is necessary. The candidate must have excellent customer service.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent customer service skills, team player and work well with others </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Food Service experience preferred </li><li>Scheduling Requirements: </li><li>Shifts 6am - 2:30 pm, 7 am - 11am, 7 am - 3:30 pm, 11 am - 7:30 pm, 3 pm - 7 pm, 4 pm - 8:30 pm </li><li>Weekdays/Weekend Rotations/Holidays </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Assists the department in all clerical functions for patient meal service through accurate menu processing. </li><li>Assisting patients with menu selections </li><li>Maintains the Room Service computer system so that patient files are updated with appropriate dietary information according to physician order </li><li>Demonstrates skills necessary to coordinate menu selections for pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients. </li></ul> <p>RWJBarnabas Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer</p>
