<p>Wright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater and civil infrastructure, is seeking a Lead Project Architect. This position is responsible for project planning, evaluation, design development, technical documentation, and construction review as part of a multidisciplinary team.</p> <p>Office locations for this position are Providence, RI | Middletown, CT | Maitland, FL | Tampa, FL</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Prepare conceptual renderings, bidding and construction drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates </li><li>Collaborate with clients and internal teams to conceptualize, design, and execute projects </li><li>Partner with Senior Architect, and project management staff on current/upcoming projects </li><li>Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets </li><li>Visit work sites to assess and understand project conditions </li><li>Technical report writing and presentation work </li><li>Keep current with continuing education credits as required for maintaining professional license </li><li>Mentor junior-level staff as needed </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Strong design and graphics skills </li><li>Strong communication, organizational and time management skills </li><li>Able to build strong collaborative relationships with coworkers </li><li>Possesses excellent attention to detail </li><li>Knowledge of architectural discipline standards, codes, and systems </li><li>Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines efficiently </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 5 years Architecture work experience in an engineering environment </li><li>Prior experience working on municipal projects in the design-bid-build delivery method/approach is preferred </li><li>Must be proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams </li><li>Revit proficiency strongly preferred </li></ul> <p>Certifications</p> <ul> <li>Registered Architect required </li><li>NCARB Certification </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>BS Degree in Architecture </li></ul> <p>Your Benefits</p> <p>Wright-Pierce's goal is to foster a culture of health and wellness.
