We offer excellent benefits, meaningful work, and a culture where new ideas are encouraged and great teaching is celebrated.</p> <p>If you're student-oriented, dedicated to helping others succeed, and eager to be part of a supportive and forward-thinking environment, we'd love to have you join our team.</p> <ul> <li> <p>This position is responsible for teaching classes as assigned by the academic dean</p> </li><li> <p>Must evaluate and report student performances and progress in courses in accordance with college and division policies and procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Must meet Minimum Faculty Standards for hire and adhere to college policies and procedures</p> </li><li> <p>The instructor will promote, develop, and deliver quality education programs with the intent to retain students to graduation</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrate IWCC's core mission, vision, and values</p> </li><li> <p>Meet minimum expectations for use of the College Learning Management System (Canvas) and for reports</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with department and academic dean to develop and revise course and program curricula </p> </li><li> <p>Assess and document student learning outcomes in courses each term?in accordance with college policies and procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with the department to analyze assessment of student learning data and develop plans for continuous improvement</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in department, division, and college meetings</p> </li><li> <p>Organize and teach labs as assigned by the academic dean</p> </li><li> <p>Complete required professional development and trainings</p> </li><li> <p>Exhibit a positive and professional demeanor with all members of the college and community, contributing to a productive and growth-oriented work environment</p> </li><li> <p>Promote, model, and enforce academic integrity</p> </li><li> <p>Be available to answer student questions outside of class time (student conferences can be held on campus in a designated student conferencing space or via phone, web conferencing, or email)</p> </li><li> <p>Help students achieve their educational and career goals</p> </li><li> <p>Refer students to college resources</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain confidentiality in accordance with FERPA and Title IX regulations </p> </li><li> <p>Adhere to safety policies and procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Actively participate in college life and activities, such as shared governance, student organizations, and commencement ceremonies</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned, which may include:</p> </li><li> <p>Review faculty credentials in consultation with the academic dean</p> </li><li> <p>Review student transcripts upon request</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with instructor orientations</p> </li><li> <p>Assist the college with accreditation standards</p> </li><li> <p>A master's degree in business or management or a master's degree with at least 12 credit hours in business or management courses. </p> </li><li> <p>Graduate classes or experience in supply chain management is preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to articulate in both small and large group settings and with diverse groups of people including co-workers, students, business contacts and at various levels from front-line to administration</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational skills including the ability to multitask, to meet deadlines, to maintain and access paper and electronic files, to produce error-free final products, and to manage time and output</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent customer service skills</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently</p> </li><li> <p>Enthusiastic and dedicated to the challenges of helping other people</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to function collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, customer-oriented team</p> </li><li> <p>Professional in communication, appearance, relationships, and responsiveness</p> </li><li> <p>Positive attitude</p> </li><li> <p>Self-starter with the ability to perform with little or no direct supervision</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands of Essential Functions:</p> <p>Normal Office </p> <p>Light work - lift 10 lbs.</p> <p>Other physical requirements (note):</p> <ul> <li>The employee frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone and basic office equipment </li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear </li><li>Ability to drive company owned or personal vehicle. </li></ul> <p>Cognitive Requirements: (as presently performed to accomplish essential functions)</p> <p>Reading, Writing, Calculating</p> <p>Social Interaction Skills</p> <p>Reasoning/Analysis</p> <p>Works with Minimal Supervision</p>
