It is not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and duties required of the job incumbents.</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>To explore the full range of benefits please visit our website www.jmmurray.com</p> <p>$26.12- $32.00/hr- Placement in the range will be determined based on experience and other factors allowed by law.</p> <p>GENERAL SUMMARY</p> <p>This position is responsible for providing operational support to the Self-Directed Services Department and the daily supervision of full time Fiscal Intermediary Specialists providing fiscal intermediary services to individuals enrolled in Self-Directed Services through the Office of People with Developmental Disabilities.</p> <p>COMPANY STANDARDS</p> <ul> <li>Maintain regular attendance and punctuality in order to coordinate and supervise quality services to individuals served and to act as a positive role model. This position performs all hours onsite and at all assigned physical locations of service, unless exceptions are determined, based on business needs and approved. </li><li>Follow all safety rules and regulations, including wearing/using required personal protective equipment while working. Immediately works to resolve any safety concerns or reports of unsafe working conditions, and ensures immediate communication to Self-Directed Services leadership. </li><li>Ensure and conduct all aspects of position in compliance with the JM Murray mission statement, policies and procedures, professional standards, and applicable governmental laws, rules and regulations. </li><li>Demonstrates both personal accountability and the development of confidence and accountability of employees, to ensure that day to day issues and concerns are responded to and resolved in a timely manner. </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Provides guidance and assistance to Fiscal Intermediary Specialists to ensure that a high quality of service is provided to individuals/families, brokers, and other stake holders. </li><li>Provides fiscal intermediary (FI) services to assigned caseload including processing reimbursements, attending Life Plan meetings, budget review, and online platform assistance. </li><li>Assists with the daily operations of the department, including, approving community classes/other reimbursements, assisting individuals/families and other Circle of Support members, and liaising with other JM Murray departments. </li><li>Provides coverage of job duties of Fiscal Intermediary Specialists as required </li><li>Provides onboarding and ongoing assistance to independent support brokers, including technical support with the JM Murray Electronic Record and ensuring quality of staff action plans. </li><li>Ensures and completes appropriate and timely documentation of services which includes the use of the JM Murray Electronic Medical Record, and the use of equipment such as a computer, laptop, and/or a tablet. </li><li>Reviews timecards for assigned employees according to the JMM payroll schedule. Approves timecards according to JM Murray policies and procedures. </li><li>Provides ongoing feedback, coaching and supervision to employees with regard to job performance and service delivery. Completes performance reviews for assigned employees in a timely manner, according to established review schedules. </li><li>Assists the Director with hiring of staff necessary to provide services, ensuring that the most qualified applicants are selected for open positions. Participates in the decision making with regard to employees who require disciplinary actions and/or terminations. </li><li>Assists/is backup to Director for billing activities </li><li>Performs clerical duties necessary to maintain accurate records and service operations including but not limited to filing, copying, computer entry, organizing and ordering supplies, etc. </li><li>Attends all required and requested training and meetings. Ensures assigned staff are scheduled for required training, and maintain all required training and certifications </li><li>Assists the Director with program development and service expansion. </li><li>Conducts self in a manner as to always contribute to maximum individual growth and in accordance with all regulations, the Code of Ethics and Company policy and procedures. Represents JM Murray and the JM Murray mission in a positive manner, treating people with respect and dignity. </li><li>Performs additional duties and responsibilities, as assigned. </li></ul> <p>COLLABORATION</p> <p>INTERNAL</p> <p>Self-Directed Services Staff</p> <p>JM Murray Administration- Accounting, IT, Human Resources</p> <p>Community Services Staff as applicable</p> <p>EXTERNAL</p> <p>OPWDD</p> <p>Individuals/families and providers of individuals served</p> <p>EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE</p> <p>Associates degree preferred; High school diploma and significant experience in lieu of degree may be considered.</p> <p>2-3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred; at least one year coordinating and scheduling work tasks.</p> <p>KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS</p> <p>Excellent written and oral communication skills</p> <p>Efficient use of technology and software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Databases</p> <p>Highly organized, attention to detail and ability to prioritize</p> <p>Flexibility to adjust to changes in schedules and assigned tasks - flexibility to work outside regular</p> <p>business hours when necessary to attend Life Plan Meetings</p> <p>OTHER REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>N/A</p> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS</p> <p>Job assignments may take place indoors and outdoors and require travel to various community locations, in various environmental conditions including rain, snow and cold weather.</p> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>Job-related physical abilities an individual must possess in order to perform the job in a satisfactory manner.
