<p>Overview:</p> <p>The Credit Analyst will oversee the company's credit-granting process, optimize sales while minimizing bad debt risks, manage the organization's credit risk, ensure timely collections, and maintain customer relationships. This role involves analyzing financial data, setting credit limits, and collaborating with sales and finance teams to support business objectives.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Monitor outstanding accounts, initiate collection efforts for overdue payments, and pursue debt recovery when necessary. </li><li>Evaluate customer creditworthiness through financial statement analysis, credit reports, and market trends. </li><li>Set and monitor credit limits for new and existing customers. </li><li>Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections and resolving payment disputes. </li><li>Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to balance customer needs with financial risk. </li><li>Prepare reports on credit and collection performance for senior management. </li><li>Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in credit management. </li><li>Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business administration is preferred, or equivalent professional experience is required. </li><li>3-5 years of experience in credit management, financial analysis, or related field. </li><li>Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and risk assessment. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with customers, colleagues, and management. </li><li>Ability to negotiate payment terms and payment plans with customers. </li><li>Self-driven, independent thinker capable of working autonomously and making sound decisions. </li><li>Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate across departments. </li><li>Proficiency in financial software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel) and credit reporting tools. </li><li>Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (e.g., Fair Credit Reporting Act, bankruptcy laws). </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Fast-paced environment requiring prioritization and adaptability. </li><li>Interaction with internal teams and external customers. </li><li>Growing company with multiple locations. </li></ul>
