Responsibilities include defining product vision and roadmaps, managing stakeholders, overseeing development, ensuring user adoption, and fostering continuous innovation in AI. The role requires experience in agile software development and product management, with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI to solve business problems and enhance customer experiences.</p> <p>What you'll do...</p> <p>Product Strategy & Vision:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and articulate the product vision working closely with business partners, aligning it with Ford's broader digital transformation goals. Products are focused on using AI to improve the effectiveness of the Sales & Services organization. </li><li>Empathize and deeply understand your target audience and personas to define the right problem to solve with AI. </li><li>Define and drive the product roadmap, ensuring it reflects the evolving needs of the business, technological advancements, and market trends. </li><li>Prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, data-driven insights, and business impact. </li><li>Focus on Product Market Fit by maintaining a balance between business viability, user desirability and technical feasibility. </li><li>Define quantitative and qualitative measures of success that drive value to Ford's core objectives. </li></ul> <p>Stakeholder Management:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with key stakeholders across various business units to understand their needs and translate them into product features. </li><li>Manage relationships with senior leadership, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities. </li><li>Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals. </li><li>Champion an iterative development approach with our business partners, driving delivery of Minimum Viable Products and continuous improvement through careful and deliberate prioritization. </li><li>Engage with your target audience in understanding their jobs to be done and needs leading to high quality product development. </li></ul> <p>Development & Delivery:</p> <ul> <li>Lead cross-functional product teams (AI engineering, software engineering, design, data engineering, etc.) in the design, development, and deployment of the AI products. </li><li>Work hands-on with the development team to prioritize, plan and deliver AI solutions that deliver business outcomes. </li><li>Ensure the solution is scalable, secure, and reliable. </li><li>Drive the integration of AI/ML capabilities into customer and business facing applications. </li><li>Collaborate with the product team to define specifications, requirements and acceptance criteria for deliverables </li><li>Work with Product Designers to ensure timely delivery of designs and assets to the development team. </li><li>Create assets to guide product development work (Discovery, Framing & Scoping Documents, PRDs, Journey Maps, opportunity trees, user stories) </li><li>Maintain an actionable backlog of user stories for development team. </li><li>Define, track and analyze key product metrics and KPIs to inform product strategy, prioritize features and drive continuous improvement and business outcomes. </li></ul> <p>User Experience & Adoption:</p> <ul> <li>Design and implement user onboarding and training programs to increase adoption. </li><li>Gather and analyze user feedback to continuously improve the solutions usability, performance, and feature set. </li><li>Develop documentation, guides, and best practices to support users in effectively leveraging the solution for their needs. </li><li>Conduct product experiments, user interviews and other validation techniques to gather feedback and product insights. </li><li>Leverage analytical methods to understand and analyze user experience and adoption. </li></ul> <p>Continuous Learning, Innovation & Contribution:</p> <ul> <li>Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in AI and cloud computing to drive innovation. </li><li>Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the team, fostering innovation and experimentation to keep the solution at the forefront of industry standards. </li><li>Mentor and train other PMs to help them learn agile/XP methods, product management techniques and build skills. </li><li>Actively participate in nurturing the Product Management Community of Practice </li><li>Help innovate and iterate on agile PM processes and share learnings. </li></ul> <p>What you'll do...</p> <p>Product Strategy & Vision:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and articulate the product vision working closely with business partners, aligning it with Ford's broader digital transformation goals.
