<p>As a Portfolio Management Assistant, you will provide operational, analytical, and general administrative support to a team of equity portfolio managers.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>We're looking for a Sr. Portfolio Management Assistant to support our healthcare hedge fund strategy. The person who will be successful in this role will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, is a continuous learner, and is able to prioritize tasks for themselves and others.</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Work closely with the portfolio management team to support the foundational aspects of portfolio construction and implementation, including:</p> </li><li> <p>Monitoring portfolio cash and holdings</p> </li><li> <p>Accurately entering equity trade orders into investment systems,</p> </li><li> <p>Providing daily, monthly, and quarterly portfolio reporting</p> </li><li> <p>Ensuring that portfolios align with client guidelines and applicable regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Act as the primary point of contact between portfolio management teams and internal business partners (Compliance, Operations, Technology, etc.).</p> </li><li> <p>Troubleshoot issues, lead portfolio management teams through operational and technological changes and participate in platform implementation activity.</p> </li><li> <p>Respond to ad hoc requests from portfolio managers, including requests for portfolio analytics, transaction details and market commentary</p> </li></ul> <p>What you'll like about the role:</p> <ul> <li> <p>The opportunity to work closely with investment professionals and to gain exposure to investing in the healthcare sector</p> </li><li> <p>Making an impactful contribution to the success of the team and helping clients to achieve their investment goals</p> </li><li> <p>An organization with ongoing dedication to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion</p> </li><li> <p>A working climate that values and supports varied perspectives and cultures</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience</p> </li><li> <p>Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with multiple teams at multiple levels</p> </li><li> <p>Curiosity about financial markets and the asset management business</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Microsoft Office, an interest in programming languages and an ability to quickly learn specialized investment systems</p> </li><li> <p>Attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness</p> </li><li> <p>A collaborative can-do attitude</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>An interest in learning more about investing in the healthcare sector </li></ul> <p>About Our Company</p> <p>We're a diversified financial services leader with more than $1 trillion in assets under management and administration as of 2022. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
