Integrity, Collaboration, Accountability, Agility, Respect, Excellence are Webster's values, these set us apart as a bank and as an employer.</p> <p>Come join our team where you can expand your career potential, benefit from our robust development opportunities, and enjoy meaningful work!</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in the preparation of financial statements (Form 10-K, Form 10-Q, Form 11-K, and other SEC filings) in accordance with US GAAP, SEC reporting rules, and company policies </li><li>Liaise with internal departments to obtain supporting documentation for financial reporting </li><li>Perform tie-outs of source support to the financial statements, including footnote disclosures and management's discussion and analysis, to ensure accuracy </li><li>Assist in the XBRL tagging process for SEC filings </li><li>Perform analytical reviews of financial data to identify variances </li><li>Support external auditors by providing information and responding to requests </li><li>Conduct peer reviews and benchmark disclosures with other SEC filers </li><li>?? Participate in projects to improve efficiency and streamline financial reporting processes </li><li>Contribute to the maintenance and documentation of SOX controls </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting </li><li>Recent college graduate or professional with 1-2 years of relevant experience </li><li>Meets the 150-credit requirement and/or is actively pursuing their CPA license is a plus </li><li>Previous Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm exposure would be a definite advantage </li></ul> <p>Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:</p> <ul> <li>Microsoft Office </li><li>Good written business language </li><li>Business integrity </li><li>Attention to details </li><li>Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Team player </li></ul> <p>The estimated base salary range for this position is $85,000 USD to $95,000 USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
