<p>The Retirement Plan Support Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Retirement Plan Advisors team. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive sales and service support, from prospecting and building compelling new business presentations to ensuring seamless client onboarding and ongoing service. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can understand plan investments, fees, and design.</p> <p>How you'll spend your time:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare detailed analyses and proposals for prospective clients by gathering and interpreting plan sponsor investment and current fee data to create pricing, profitability, and benchmarking comparisons. </li><li>You will provide administrative support, including activities with third-party recordkeepers, the distribution of recurring plan investment reviews, and assisting in resolving client requests. </li><li>Responsible for the overall customer experience of the virtual education websites; ensuring ease of use and access, up-to-date information, and branding. </li><li>You will analyze target markets and identify potential new business opportunities, using tools such as Free ERISA, Larkspur, providing constructive feedback to sales team. </li><li>Maintains benchmarking software (FI360) by reviewing, updating, and inputting competitor performance and fee information. </li><li>You will assist in fee processing, invoice creation/distribution, and timely collection of advisory fees for Retirement Plan Services account relationships. </li><li>Provides timely updates and maintains accurate information in the customer relationship management (CRM) system, including pipeline tracking and referral activity. </li><li>Supports meeting preparation, sales events, travel, and expense reimbursements as needed. </li><li>You will help onboard new Advisors / retirement staff and updates onboarding materials and handbook for training where applicable. </li><li>You will perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>We're excited to talk to you if:</p> <ul> <li>You possess a Bachelor's Business Administration/Management, Economics, or Finance. </li><li>You have 3-5 years within the financial services industry. </li><li>Or, combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background. </li><li>You are proficient in using the Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe suite. </li><li>You are detail oriented with a high level of accuracy. </li><li>You show an understanding of financial services products, particularly related to retirement plans and investment products and services. </li><li>You have solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify problems and recommend appropriate follow-up action. </li><li>You have excellent organizational and time management skills. </li><li>You have excellent interpersonal skills that result in establishing and maintaining good relations with internal and external customers throughout the entire sales process. </li><li>You have ability to work alone to get the job done as well as with a team to meet deadlines. </li></ul> <p>Compensation Range:</p> <p>$57,760.00 - $124,170.00</p> <p>The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB's standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
