<p>Food Service Cashier</p> <ul> <li>Location: Running Aces Casino Hotel Racetrack - 15201 Running Aces Blvd, Columbus, MN 55025 </li><li>Schedule: Part-time </li><li>Perks: Medical, Vison, and Dental Benefits for full-time positions, 401k, employee discount, Tips, Paid Time off (PTO, sick, bereavement, and holidays) </li></ul> <p>Purpose of the Food Service Cashier:</p> <p>The Food Service Cashier is responsible for taking orders, handling money, dishing up food, and serving food orders to our guests.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Cheerfully and politely greet and interact with our guests while taking their orders. </li><li>Ability to work a register for entering orders and taking payments. </li><li>Packages food for takeout orders and ensure all orders for completeness and accuracy. </li><li>Ability to take payment and make correct change. </li><li>Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of counters, floors and other areas as designated. </li><li>Keep utensils, condiments, beverages and packaged food stocked. </li><li>Take out garbage and recycling. </li><li>Ensure food safety by following policies and procedures. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Skills/Requirements</p> <ul> <li>16 years of age or older. </li><li>Familiar with using point of sale systems. </li><li>Cash handling experience. </li><li>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as well as to gain the cooperation of guests and fellow team members </li><li>This position must have, or an ability to acquire within one year, an in-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of company policy and procedures, state regulations, and technical rules relevant to their responsibilities </li><li>Must possess the ability to obtain a Minnesota Racing Commission gaming license </li></ul> <p>Physical, intellectual and environmental conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including nights, weekends and holidays </li><li>Strong multitasking skills with additional attention to detail. </li><li>Ability to handle frequent walking, standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting, bending and lifting, pushing and pulling. This is a very active position. </li><li>Ability to lift 35lbs on a regular basis. </li></ul>
