We look forward to reviewing your resume.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintain general laboratory solutions </li><li>Support lab manager in maintaining stocks of consumable items and chemicals </li><li>Collection and storage of chemical and medical waste </li><li>Lab equipment decontamination </li><li>Participate in spill response and other environmental duties if required </li><li>Organize meetings and some travel arrangements </li><li>Help with lab inventory, organization and waste disposal </li><li>Be a steward of resources in regard to inventory, time management, and meeting productivity standards </li></ul> <p>Expectations and Competencies for Success</p> <ul> <li>No travel is required, must be able to work in the Paramus, NJ facility </li><li>Be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the equipment </li><li>Work with faculty to maintain and upgrade/replace laboratory equipment and supplies and support infrastructure as necessary </li><li>Assist with developing written laboratory practices, protocols and lab manuals </li><li>Manage inventory of consumables (calibration gases, test samples, pressure and temperature sensors, cabling, etc....) </li></ul> <p>Work Environment and Physical Demands</p> <p>The work environment and physical demands represent those employees encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in an office setting is usually quiet to moderate.</p> <p>The employee is frequently required to be in a stationary position, regularly use the computer keyboard and mouse, and will view the computer monitor frequently. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with their hands. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
