<p>YOUR MISSION</p> <p>We are seeking a motivated and detail-driven Software QA Engineer to support testing efforts against our Mosaic product. The ideal candidate has foundational experience in QA, can work independently on well-defined tasks, and is ready to take ownership of test planning and execution. Candidate should be comfortable utilizing automation, and wanting to gain more experience in their automation skills.</p> <p>This role is perfect for someone who has progressed beyond junior-level responsibilities and is ready to contribute more directly to process, automaton coverage and cross team collaboration.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li> <p>Develop and execute manual and automated test cases across full-stack</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in refining requirements and acceptance criteria</p> </li><li> <p>Understand and perform basic QA testing methodologies</p> </li><li> <p>Regression Testing</p> </li><li> <p>Integration Testing / System Testing</p> </li><li> <p>Exploratory Testing</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for defect triage and resolution</p> </li><li> <p>Contributing to writing test cases manual and automated scripts in playwright</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with developers, product and design for a full software lifecycle deliveries</p> </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>2-4 years of experience in software QA </li><li>Bachelors degree in computer science or related field/equivalent education </li><li>Solid understanding of QA methodologies and Agile practices </li><li>Experience with test case management and tooling </li><li>Proficiency in defect resolution and ticket tooling such as JIRA/Azure Devops/etc. </li><li>Experience testing APIs utilizing tools like postman or insomnia </li><li>Proficiency in coding (preferred Javascript) </li><li>Ability to analyze requirements and convert them to test plans/cases </li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal oversight </li><li>Proficient utilizing github and version control for repositories </li><li>U.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance </li><li></li></ul> <p>PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>Hands on experience with Playwright </li><li>Familiarity with CICD pipeline tooling (github actions ) </li><li>Specifically GRPC API testing </li><li>Exposure to performance and load testing tooling </li><li>Experience testing elixir or a similar backend system </li><li>Motivated to learn and grow within QA industry </li><li>Team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset </li><li>Ability to manage time and tasks effectively in a fast paced environment </li><li>Flexible mindset/Startup mentality </li><li>Detail oriented </li></ul> <p>COMPENSATION</p> <ul> <li>Base Salary: Denver: $80,000 - $105,000 | Long Beach: $85,000 - $110,000 </li><li>Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave </li></ul> <p>Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.</p> <p>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Work Location-Successful candidates will be located near Long Beach, Denver or Colorado Springs.
