<p>Job Title: Manager of Process Improvement Advertising Title: Req #: 12423 Company: Ward Trucking, LLC Job Code: MGR Location: Altoona Employment Status: Full Time City: Altoona Area of Interest: Administrative Support State: PA Rate of Pay: $60k - $70k per year</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>JOB TITLE: Manager of Process Improvement</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Director of Process Improvement</p> <p>OVERVIEW OF ROLE: Responsible for becoming proficient in all aspects of Service Center management in order to teach/train SC's in best practices.</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Travel regularly throughout the system in order to provide training to Operations Team members. </li><li>Teach OPS SC teams on best practices in order to improve overall quality of our services and efficiency of our operations. </li><li>Temporarily fill-in throughout the system as needed for any aspect of Service Center management or administration. </li><li>Create training materials for group training sessions. </li><li>Conduct training sessions for selected OPS team members (as well as all new hires) for further development of their skill sets. </li><li>Look for opportunities to improve processes system wide </li><li>Coordinate their training efforts with other field training team members so as to not overwhelm SC's they are visiting. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Needs to be proficient in all aspects of service center operation, including all shifts of the operation, administrative, and clerical support functions. </li><li>Needs to be domiciled out of the Western Pennsylvania or Ohio area. </li><li>College degree or industry experience </li><li>Willingness to accept responsibility. </li><li>Willingness to travel throughout system. </li><li>Must be self-starter and be able to work without supervision. </li><li>Must be able to adjust to stressful situations </li><li>Good oral and written communication skills. </li><li>Must be a team player, team builder and team leader. </li><li>Must be proficient in Excell as well as basic computer knowledge with willingness to learn more (P&L knowledge etc). </li></ul> <p>GENERAL BENEFIT LISTING:</p> <p>As a family-owned and operated business that believes in treating its employees like family.
