This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and prior experience operating in secure or classified environments.</p> <p>The ideal candidate combines deep frontend engineering expertise with strong user experience design capabilities to build intuitive, high-performing interfaces for complex analytical and operational systems. This position plays a key role in modernizing legacy applications, improving usability for mission operators, and delivering scalable, secure web solutions in Agile environments.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, test, and maintain responsive, secure web applications using Vue.js </li><li>Translate mission and technical requirements into intuitive, user-centered interface designs </li><li>Create wireframes, mockups, user flows, interactive prototypes, and production-ready visual designs </li><li>Partner with backend engineers, systems architects, and mission stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions </li><li>Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives </li><li>Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterative design improvements based on operator feedback </li><li>Establish and maintain UI/UX standards, reusable component libraries, and design consistency across applications </li><li>Optimize application performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility </li><li>Support deployment activities within secure, containerized, or cloud-based environments </li><li>Present design concepts and technical solutions to both technical teams and mission leadership </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Active Top Secret / SCI clearance at time of hire </li><li>7 or more years of professional experience in front end development and UI/UX design </li><li>Strong hands-on experience with Vue.js </li><li>Demonstrated experience translating design concepts into production-quality code </li><li>Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical discipline </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Prior experience supporting Department of Defense or Intelligence Community programs </li><li>Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles </li><li>Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript frameworks, jQuery, or Python </li><li>Familiarity with SQL and data-driven applications </li><li>Experience working in Docker or other containerized environments </li><li>Experience with version control and collaboration tools such as GitHub or GitLab </li><li>Familiarity with Jira and Confluence </li><li>Strong communication skills and comfort presenting to both technical and non-technical stakeholders </li></ul> <p>#LI-hybrid #tssci #vue.js</p> <ul> <li>Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) - must be active Day 1 </li><li>Strong hands-on experience administering the Appian platform </li><li>Experience supporting secure or classified environments </li><li>Understanding of platform security, logging, and access control best practices </li><li>Experience integrating Appian with enterprise services and tools </li><li>Ability to work independently and take technical ownership of platform operations </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Exposure to Information Assurance (IA) support in INT-B and INT-C environments </li><li>Experience supporting enterprise-scale Appian deployments </li><li>Familiarity with secure network architectures and compliance frameworks </li><li>Prior experience supporting Intelligence Community programs </li></ul>
