<p>As the CT Technical Assistant, you will be asked to assist CT technologists during procedures, performs errands, stocks supplies and transports patients.</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Answers the telephone in a courteous manner expressing a greeting to the caller and identifying self and the department. </li><li>Keeps Radiology Management informed of any unusual concerns, situations or conditions relative to staff, patients and physicians. </li><li>Prepares patient for CT exam. Pleasantly introduces oneself and confirms identification utilizing the 2 LGH patient identifiers (name and date of birth). </li><li>Explains examination procedure to patient and family if present. </li><li>Assists in the movement of patient to and from wheelchair. </li><li>Demonstrates the knowledge and special skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in radiology (neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric.) </li><li>Cleans room after exam has been completed changing sheet and pillow towel. </li><li>Maintains necessary inventory of supplies in each room. </li><li>Stocks supplies and notifies supervisor when items need to be reordered. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High School Graduate </li><li>Flexible team member with good communication skills.
