<p>Snow College's Division of Social and Behavioral Science seeks qualified applicants for a full-time tenure track Behavioral Science faculty/Behavioral Health Technician program supervisor position, beginning January 2026. The position will be expected to teach classes in psychology and/or social work subjects and supervise a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) grant certificate program.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Master's degree in psychology or social work required.</p> </li><li> <p>Clinical licensure preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>PhD earned by time of employment preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Supervisory or program leadership experience preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated inter-agency/department collaboration and cooperation preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability, experience, and qualifications to teach a variety of social and behavioral science courses ranging from introductory psychology or social work courses to behavioral science/health skills-based courses.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability and demonstrated experience and excellence in teaching.</p> </li><li> <p>Be experienced in engaged learning and teaching pedagogies/high impact practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Skilled and proficient in diverse instructional methods (face to face, asynchronous online, interactive video conference-IVC).</p> </li><li> <p>Ability and willingness to teach courses through interactive video conferencing (IVC) to remote students.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in oral and written English.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong interpersonal skills: ability to be collegial with faculty/staff/admin, community/industry partners, and be respectful and encouraging of students.</p> </li><li> <p>Be committed to facilitate the growth of the Behavioral Science program and BHT grant certificate program at Snow College.</p> </li><li> <p>Teach social & behavioral science classes through a variety of delivery modes and in multiple campus locations, including traditional face-to-face, asynchronous online, and possible Interactive Video Conference (IVC) to remote sites</p> </li><li> <p>Regularly develop and evaluate teaching and learning curriculum and incorporate pedagogies and practices that lead to student success.</p> </li><li> <p>Supervise the reporting and certifications of the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) grant certificate program.</p> </li><li> <p>Actively cultivate relationships with industry and community partners to help create, facilitate, and maintain internship opportunities for the BHT program.</p> </li><li> <p>Contribute to the development and goals of the Behavioral Science program and the BHT certificate program.</p> </li><li> <p>Mentor majors and prospective majors in Behavioral Science fields.</p> </li><li> <p>Be actively engaged in program recruitment and student retention efforts.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop collaborative relationships with colleagues at Snow College as well as colleagues at transfer institutions and with external constituents.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in institutional committees and service to Snow College and the community at large.</p> </li></ul> <p>Salary & Additional Information:</p> <p>This is a full-time tenure-track position with a professional commitment of 40+ hours per week and a 9-month schedule through Fall and Spring semesters (mid Aug-mid May).</p> <ul> <li>Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience </li><li>Additional Compensation: possibility for overload pay for courses taught beyond the base teaching load. </li><li>Advancement: Opportunities for rank advancement and associated salary increases are available based on performance and qualifications. </li></ul> <p>Applications received by 11:59 PM on, November 10, 2025, will be eligible for review by the hiring committee.
